What we are
Agentworks is a Delaware Limited Liability Company. We are commercial: we charge market rate, we ship contracts, we collect on Stripe. We are engineering-first: every agent ships with an SLO, a runbook, a fallback chain across providers, and version-controlled prompts. We are unapologetically transparent: every billable token shows up on the customer’s dashboard, every assertion in every output cites the rule it stands on. We do this so a regulated buyer can defend the spend — to a CFO, an auditor, or a regulator — without ever leaving the invoice.
Three standards
Every Anthropic, OpenAI, or Gemini token consumed by your agent is captured at source by Glasshouse, hash-chained, and surfaced on a customer-facing dashboard. The invoice cites the model, the matter, the timestamp, the prompt class. Accountants love us.
Agents are systems, not prompts. We ship with SLOs, runbooks, fallback chains across providers, observability, and version-controlled prompts. We treat the agent like a microservice on day one — because by month three, that’s what it is.
We bias toward open protocols (MCP, OpenAPI, Stripe metered billing, OpenTelemetry) so customers can audit, fork, or migrate without vendor lock-in. Open core is a sibling discipline shared with our PBC sister, Cause Software.

We work with your team to scope the matter, select the right model and the right tools, write the prompts, build the orchestration, and ship a deployable agent against your data and your systems. Build engagement is fixed-fee plus per-token markup billed through Glasshouse. Every Claude Code hook, every test run, every refactor — all logged, all citable.

Glasshouse is our internal billing engine and the reason customers buy from us. Every token your agent consumes — build phase or run phase — lands in an immutable ledger, marked-up per-tier, surfaced on the customer dashboard, invoiced via Stripe. Every entry is hash-chained to the prior; daily merkle roots get anchored to R2 Object Lock. Tamper-evident by design.
Hosted agents · provider failover · SLOs · on-call · SOC 2-track.
Once shipped, the agent is ours to keep alive. Provider outage? We failover Anthropic → Gemini → OpenAI → back. Token quota exhausted? We notify before it bites. Production error? We page on-call. The agent runs in our infrastructure or yours; either way, the SLO is contractual and the invoice is line-item.
Organizational structure
Agentworks LLC sits inside the rgw.co umbrella alongside Cause Software, PBC — commercial sibling to a public-benefit sibling, both feeding the same builder lineage. Glasshouse is Agentworks’s flagship billing engine. The Dispute Project, a peer 501(c)(3), runs on the Cause Software open-core engine. One umbrella. Two operating companies. Many products.
Sister disciplines
Agentworks is unapologetically commercial: market rate, contracts, Stripe collections. Cause Software is unapologetically mission-bound: open core, sliding-scale, public benefit report. The point of the umbrella is that the same engineers build for both — and the same audit-grade rigor we promise a law firm we promise a public charity.
